Burloak adds servo press to production line

Production stamping provider Burloak Tool, Burlington, Ont., has commissioned its first new 300-ton direct-drive servo press for production stamping. Complemented by a high-speed feed line, the press is now implemented for full-time production.

Featuring a direct drive from the motor to the ram, the press has no flywheel or clutch. The heavy-duty frame and servo-driven ram provide high-accuracy stamping, even in high-strength steels, the company reports. Bed size is more than 68 by 35 in. Aluminum Stamping Press
