Brunner Fabrication adds laser cutting and arc welding equipment

Family-owned and -operated fabrication shop Brunner Fabrication LLC, Manitowoc, Wis., has increased its production capabilities with the addition of a new TruLaser 5000 precision laser cutting machine with 24-kW laser and a TruArc Weld 1000 automated arc welding machine, both from TRUMPF.

The upgraded laser cutting machine can cut nearly three times faster and with up to 80% higher productivity than a 12-kW laser, depending on the application and material. This enables the company to process stainless and mild steel sheet up to 2 in. thick and up to 1 in. while cutting with nitrogen, with minimal burr and reworking. Fiber Cutting Machine
