Zeller announces new lighting project for Chicago’s historic Wrigley Building – REJournals

The Wrigley Building will be undergoing renovations to its exterior lighting.  As a part of ownership’s commitment to reinvesting in the building for the next hundred years, the updates to the exterior lighting will include almost 650 new LED flood lights and LED accent lights, replacing the obsolete metal halide fixtures, reducing energy use by 60-70%.  The coloring of the new LED exterior lighting was carefully selected to match the iconic lighting coloration of The Wrigley Building.

The relighting project will kick-off on Monday, September 27th, when the building’s exterior lighting will be shut off to allow for an accelerated and highly coordinated replacement of flood lighting and remain off until the grand relighting of The Wrigley Building which will occur before The Festival of Lights on Saturday, November 20th.   Installation of additional building-mounted accent lighting will continue for the balance of the year.   Ip69k Ik10 Tri-Proof Lamp
